Here is Franz in the Swing Era groove.  This album contains some classic swing cuts such as "Keepin' Out of Mischief", "I Got It Bad and That Ain't Good" and "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing".  Franz is joined on this 1994 recording by Norm Murphy on trumpet; Dave Remington on piano; Eddie Calhoun on bass; Wayne Jones on drums; and John DeFauw on guitar.  As Joe Segal, proprietor of the renowned Jazz Showcase in Chicago, says in his comments of this album:  "I think Franz Jackson is one of the great tenor players that's often overlooked in jazz history and this (CD) is one of the highlights of all the years I've presented jazz."

Musicians:  Franz Jackson (tenor sax); Norm Murphy (trumpet); Dave Remington (piano); Eddie Calhoun (bass); John DeFauw (guitar); and Wayne Jones (drums)
